Empowering Women to Thrive

For over 20 years, I've passionately supported high-achieving women in their business endeavors and careers. This page shares a bit about my journey, but it's really about how I can help you. I've been where you are—experiencing burnout while trying to achieve success.

Now, with my proven, values-driven marketing strategies, I help creative women, such as authors, coaches, speakers, and nonprofits, escape overwhelm and start their journey toward sustainable growth in just 90 days.

Elevating Businesses & Brands

My mission is to elevate businesses and personal brands to new heights. As your Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), I combine corporate experience with entrepreneurial energy, thriving on challenges. I create strategies that boost your brand's presence across the channels your ideal client uses. I specialize in strategic marketing initiatives that ensure your goals are not just met but exceeded.

A Legacy of Mentorship & Trailblazing

My mother was my first mentor and a trailblazer. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, she owned an interior decorating business at a time when women faced significant financial barriers, such as the need for a male co-signer to open bank accounts or obtain business loans. Her interior decorating store was where I learned the ropes, helping customers pick out paint colors, wallpaper, and manage the cash register. It was then that I became fascinated with entrepreneurship. Her strength and determination continue to inspire me every day.

Education & Community Advocacy

Outside of work, I'm a strong advocate for education and community engagement. I've served on three community college advisory committees, was a charter member and on the leadership team of a local ABWA chapter and also worked with organizations like NAWBO. Plus, I've volunteered for the Sacramento Food Bank's Computer Literacy program. I’m also committed to supporting Thriving Pink, a nonprofit breast cancer support organization in Davis, CA, where I donate my skills and time to help support their mission.

My Professional Journey

Throughout my career, I have led impactful projects and held key marketing positions. In my previous role as the Digital Marketing Manager at the California Chamber of Commerce, I managed a $3M annual budget for digital marketing advertising, achieving an 88% revenue growth and an 85% ROAS (return on ad spend) in the first year. I spearheaded a pivotal Google Analytics 4 project, coordinating efforts across multiple vendors and departments. Additionally, I collaborated with industry leaders such as Checkr, Gusto, FedEx, UPS, and Wix to enhance the membership benefits program, "Perks & Discounts."

Previously, I founded Virtual Business Marketing, a marketing agency where I successfully led a team of 16 remote subcontractors and worked with clients worldwide. My volunteer work includes co-developing the Virtual Office Professional (VOP) curriculum for California Community Colleges. While on the steering committee, I contributed to the overall multi-million dollar grant project, dedicating my time and expertise to its success.

Embracing Family & Leisure Time

Family is central to my life. I cherish every moment with my husband, our grown children, granddaughter, extended family, and close friends. My husband is my best friend, my travel partner, and my biggest fan in all I do—and he's the greatest at making me laugh every day (even his "Dad" jokes, which I vowed to laugh at when we got married). Our home is lively with our beloved tabby cat, and our spirited Australian Heeler.

Exploring the World

When I'm not working on marketing strategies or community projects, my husband and I love to travel—especially in our camper with our dog. We find serenity and inspiration in nature, which provides a peaceful escape from life's busyness. We also enjoy attending concerts and immersing ourselves in the arts, whether visiting an art museum, attending the symphony, or dancing to music at a local concert—all of which bring us immense pleasure and enrichment to our lives. These diverse experiences fuel my creativity and passion, infusing fresh inspiration into my work.
